I have ms project 2007, I am planning to setup the project server, EPM. But i
am not able to understand how EPM is working, features and project server,
Web access, central, portfolio server and all. Can anyone please explain me
in detail about this whole setup and also guide me to install the ms project
server EPM.
Is it possible ? Thanks in advance.

Karthick,

What you ask goes some distance outside the bounds of this group.

I will point you to a couple of links. The first provides some
general information on Project Server 2007, describing how it works.
The second provides a link to Technet's article on installing Project
Server 2007.

In addition, you might consider purchasing a book or two. Some very
good choices are:

Microsoft Office Project Server Unleashed by QuantumPM - I am a
contributing author to that one.
http://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-Off...=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1247751552&sr=8-1

or

Implementing and Administering Microsoft Office Project Server 2007
which was written by Dale Howard and Gary Chefetz and is, in my
opinion, an excellent choice. Dale is an MVP and one of the most (if
not the most) frequent contributor to this discussion group and an
excellent trainer.

Hi Karthick,
The 1st place to look is technet. There are deployment articles on there.
There are also many books on the market that talk about project server
configuration. Finally there are many companies that specialise in
configuration and setup. One forum though that is not suited to fully
understanding is this one... it's more useful for ad-hoc queries.
