This is posted in frustration! I sent it to (e-mail address removed), right there
next to the upgrade FAQ section, and it was rejected by the SMTP server!
Jeez....

Stopping selling Groove 3.1 licences is a bad idea! I have a small business
and we make EXTENSIVE use of Groove — virtually all our internal custom
applications are developed in Groove Forms and we share a lot of data with
clients and subcontractors through Groove. Now, if I want a new client or
contractor to get a Groove licence, they have no choice but to use an
unproven beta version for mission-critical production work. Even worse, if
they develop even a simple workspace using Office Groove 2007, they can’t
share it with any other people in the existing network.
What on earth was the logic behind this move? And if G2007 can talk to
existing G3 workspaces, how difficult would it be to allow G2007 users to
create G3 workspaces in the first place? (Just as Word 2007 users can create
Word 2003 files, Excel 2007 users can… etc.)
You are causing me problems I don’t need!
