No "Send to OneNote" button

I am using MS Office 2007, and used to have the "Send to OneNote" button in
Outlook and other programs, but it is no longer there. How do I get the
button back or is there another way to send emails to my OneNote notebook?

There is no such thing in any MS Office application except Outlook.
An in Outlook there are buttons for sending to OneNote only in certain
parts- in Contacts and Mail).

You may try it with running a repair for OneNote and Outlook as well.

You could use the "Send to OneNote printer". But this would leave you
with an image (which is not editable).

In Outlook, check to see if the addin is disabled. Here's how:

In Outlook, click tools \ options.
Select the Addins command on the left.
Look in the Disabled and Inactive Sections. If the "OneNote Addin for
Outlook Items" is listed there, it got disabled for some reason.

To turn it back on, click the Go button at the bottom. Then check the box
for the OneNote addin and then OK.

You may need to restart Outlook to get the addin to load.

Thanks for the reply, John!
As I meanwhile had to detect, I'm bitten by the same problem myself
:-( :-(
The ON-things have disappeared.
And I am unable to clear the troubles myself.

I can not find the dialog you are referring to.
The "Tools | Options" applet does only have for tabbed pages and there
is nothing about "Add-ins".

And I do not find any other place for Add-ons.

I have run a repair - to no avail.
Then I un-installed OL and re-installed it.
The situation is unchanged.

I have no idea in where else I might look.

Would you have any ideas?

Rainald
P.S. I'm running Office2007 under Vista Enterprise SP2

My mistake - I meant "Tools | Trust Center" in Outlook.

Thanks a lot, John!
I just came here to post that I found it and saw your reply ;-)

I managed to activate the ON-Addin. And now the buttons are back.

Thanks again

Thanks John & Rainald. My ON-Addin is re-activated! I had to use a slightly
different path for the changes to load, but your suggestions got me to the
right place.

Thanks again!
Mandy

Tools /Trust Center
Addins
At the bottom, Manage: Disabled Items, "Go"
Selected ON addin from list, click "Enable"
Restart Outlook
