Non Breaking Space not working after List Num Field

Hi,

When I insert List Num field in a Word 2002 document, and
follow it with a non-breaking-space, the text still
breaks from the number if it's at the end of the line.

Other Word fields seem to work ok with the non-breaking
space.

I don't recall having this problem in prior versions of
Word.

Any ideas?

This behaviour occurs also after Symbol Fields.
It seems that there is no workaround.

For what it's worth, nonbreaking spaces don't work with LISTNUM fields
in Word 2000, either.

Thanks to both you and Peter for confirming the problem!
At least I know it's not something else on our system.

Unfortunately, these people are moving from Word 97 to
2002 and were quite SHOCKED at this turn of events.
