Office 2003 apps keep asking to install

I have office 2003 installed in XP Pro. If I log in as Administrator my
Office apps work fine. If I log in with my name (I have admin rights) office
apps keep popping up annoying install dialogs when I launch the app directly
or by double clicking a document file. This must be some security thing but
how can I get rid of these dialogs??

Some time ago a tech guy came by with Office 2003 install disks. He ran
some tests and said everything was fine. Whatever he did had no effect on
this problem.
