office 2K, setup error

Hi, I changed to WinXP(clean installed)recently,
when try to install office 2000, internal error 2755,then
try to remove from control panel (Add/Change Progs) but
failed.
how to fix this, where can i get the patches to fix the
problem.
do i need to remove the "unsuccessfull installedd" before
download the patches? but how.

refering to this article 217714, i have to change
permissions admin on the installer. but how am i able to
do that?
