Office Ultimate 2007 Disk 1 will not start

trying to install Office Ultimate 2007 on pc that has home/student 2007
version currently installed.

Ultimate 2007 disk 1 will not start and contents are not shown in windows
explorer, disk 2 will start and contents can be seen.

disk 1 will start on another pc, not at the same location.
any suggestions?

Uninstall H&S, reboot, insert Office 2007 disk one, if it doesnt run - may
take some seccs - Explore the cd and double click setup.exe

Ultimate Disk 1 is a DVD, Disk 2 is a CD - are you using a DVD drive?
Especially if Disk 1 is explorable on another machine, it appears that this
drive is CD-ROM only and can't read the DVD media.

Also, as DL mentioned there, you need to uninstall the Home and Student
edition before installing Ultimate.
