ON07 on usb

i keep my notebook files on a usb stick.
Suppose I forgot my stick...
Will I be able to work on ON and synchronize the chnages on the stick the
other day?

How long will ON07 will keep the changes in the cach file?

To do so, should I avoid "automatic syynchronization" ?

Should work on the "offline" mode when I forget my usb stick?

As long as the cache is available (it should always be kept on a permanent
drive) you can work "offline" when you don't have your USB key. Once the
notebook has been set up and initial synchronization has occurred, you
shouldn't have to do anything else.
