One Note General Questions and Sync with Windows Mobile 6

I cam considering purchasing One Note for use in my small business. I have a
few questions I would like information on prior to purchaseing. We currently
use Outlook extensively in the business.

1. What can I easily accomplish with One Note that can't be done with
Outlook Journal>

2. Will One Note sync both ways with Outlook on a Desktop (or two Desktops)?
i.e. can I make an entry in mobile One Note and have it appear in the Desktop
One Note and can I make an entry in One Note on the Desktop and have it
transferred to the mobile when I sync?

Any help appreciated.

1. Journal is more a record of events (hours spent - using the timer or
manually entered). OneNote is a free format notebook - it replaces all of
your post-it notes, scraps of paper, work books, jottings etc. Or more
formally it can be used more formally to minute projects or peform research
etc. And it is all very easily searchable and taggable (?).

2. I assume you are using OneNote 2007 and Office 2007. The answer is Yes.

3. Your mobile may support synching with Outlook Calendar and OneNote. Let
us know the make/model.

You may want to look at the OneNote page on the MS Office web site
(http://office.microsoft.com/onenote) and look at some of the
documents and tutorials (including some videos). You'll be amazed at
the ways some people are putting OneNote to work in their business and
personal lives...!

My SmartPhone has a touch screens and OneNote does not allow ink input. It's
relatively useless to me until it supports ink.

Transcriber stylus writtent text.

What SmartPhone model are you using, what version of Windows Mobile, what
version of OneNote on your PC?
