one note tags summary does not show all tags

I seem to be getting spotty results when I do a tags summary...sometimes
tags are not picked up, and sometimes the tag itself is picked up, but all of
the instances are not found. This is a shared notebook, and my operations
manager, who I shared this with is having the same results....

It does not seem to matter whether the tag is a custom tag (which she added
to her machine) or a system default tag.

Any thoughts?

I don't use a shared notebook, but for my own computer i had the same
problem.
I use tags extensively and have recently – after hours of research…
come across this suggestion which is the first thing I have found to
create a “Tag summary Report” which includes all of my tags.
Run the summary report clicking on drop down box, “group tags by” and
use section.
You can then immediately click “group tags by tag name” and you should
get a summary showing all of your tags.

I use the tags summary report as well, but for day to day use, it is a little
clunky, because it doesn't dynamically update as tagged information
changes....additionally, some of my notebooks have restricted sections, and
my staff who might also want to use tags, would see tagged items from the
restriced section, or I would not....really would be better if this tags
showed up reliably....Good thought though.
