Opening One Note

Whenever I open One Note (2007) if opens in Full Screen. It would be my
preference to have it open in Normal Screen, rather than having to f11 it
each time. I've searched for a toggle but am apparently missing it?

Thank you

How are you opening it up? Are you using the "Open New Side Note" icon on
the bottom cvorner near the clock or from an icon on theDesktop or from the
Start Menu?

If the former, that beavior is by design - that icon is supposed to be a
quick way to write a note in the Unfiled Notes section and is not intended
to be a method to open up the full program. Try opening from the Start
menu or another icon and see if it does what you expect.

But even then ON should not open in full screen mode.
Try opening

expect.

An alternative would be to change the settings for icon in the
"notification area" (Onenotem.exe) to launch ON instead of a side-note.

If you're just starting OneNote from the Start Menu, you can
right-click on the icon and select Properties, then change the window
option from Maximize to Normal Window.
