oppening simultaneously two or more windows in MS Project 2003

I am working with four monitors in the same time using one workstation.

Q: how can I open two or three MS Project programs in the same time to have
them in separate monitors?

Explanation: when I open let's say three or four excel files, they are in
reality each in a separate window with all the commands (like if I open three
or four separate programs). When I open MS project, and want to open another
one, I still get only one program open.

What I am trying to do is to open let's say three different MS project
files, put each one on separate screen in order to be able to watch what
information I want to use, and that I don't have to always minimize the
windows, than restore then, than minimize ....

Click Window - New Window. Select the View you want to see in the window
and then click the OK button. Repeat this until you have four windows open,
each of which displays a View of your project data. Make sure that none of
the windows are maximized, so that you can drag the window in the Desktop
for each monitor. Hope this helps.

Hi Dale:

Thanks for quick response. This works with all other programs but not with
MS Project. I tried to do it, and I got smaller windows which I tried to drag
to other screens, but I can just drag it till the borders of the program. The
windows are not maximized. When I drag them, they almost disapear, but I do
not have two or three or more copies of the programm itself open. This is my
problem :(

In Excell, or word for example, you can have several copies of the programm
itsel open, but not in MS Project.

Any other idea?

Dale:

I have found the solution:

I enlarged the open program to all four screens (2 + 2 on top of each
other), open new windows as you suggested, and now I can have open two or
four windows (depending what I want) either one in each monitor or if I want
to see more tasks, than I take the left two screens for one window and the
other two for the other, or if I want to see longer gannt in duration, than I
use two upper screens for one window and two bottom screens for the other
window.

Thank you for your help.

By the way, this is possible thanks to Matrox QID Pro quad head graphic card.

Hope my solution will hel to others as well.
