Outlook recurrance settings should have "1st, 3rd, & 5th weekend"

I have joint custody with my son's father, and it is so frustrating to try
and schedule this in Outlook. He has him every 1st, 3rd, and 5th weekend, but
Outlook doesn't have settings for this. I have to do every 1st weekend as a
separate occurance, the 3rd weekend as a separate occurance, and the 5th as a
separate, but there are only four 5th weekends every year, and its almost
impossible to set as a recurrence, I have to go in and do each one
separately. This is very frustrating, its easier to just write it in on a
paper calendar!

Exactly, and probably the best method of all.

there are only four 5th weekends every year

This is basically why there isn't a 5th week option - too many variables to
work around, like what happens when there isn't a 5th week in a month? Is
the recurrence moved to the 4th or skipped completely.

The best way to do it is using the method as you are.
