Problem Repairing Office 2002

I get the following error messages when trying to use my Office 2002 CDs to
do a repair installation. The errors started after I installed a new hard
drive and changed it to the boot drive and copied all files, including system
files, from the old drive to the new drive, using seagate's DiscWizard
software; the old drive is the backup now. Other apps (which are many) are
working ok. Here is the error messages:

This patch package could not be opened. Verify that
the patch package exists and that you can access it, or
contact the application vendor to verify that this is a

I was able to repair all damaged applications with the info you provided.
Specifically, I used the Windows Installer CleanUp utility.
