Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: imap Hi,

A customer is currently running Entourage 2008 v12.2.3 client that uses IMAP connected to a MDaemon e-mail server. When we try to send an e-mail to a couple of users where one of these recipients has a full mailbox Entourage won't send the message to neither of the included recipients in the message. The strange thing is that this happens both when sending to internal as external users who's mailbox might be full.

Any setting in Entourage that we have to edit or might it be a server specific problem?
Thanks in advance
Richard

This is definitely a server problem. Entourage will have no control over
how a server reacts when a recipient's mailbox is full.

Are you sure the message isn't really coming from your own server?
Bouncing messages to all recipients because one recipient's mailbox is
full is very unusual.

Hope this helps!

Hi Bill,

Thanks for your reply.

This has only happened when one of our internal Entourage user 8running Mac Os X 10.5) sends a message to a list of people and if one of those people have a full mailbox (regardless if the user is a internal or external recipient) the e-mail will not be sent at all to any recipient. The strange is that this will not happen if we try to send the same type message to the same recipients from a user running Outlook on a Windows Vista computer.
That's why we thought it may be some type of setting or technical behaviour in the Entourage application that might be the source our problem? But I totally agree that this i a rather strange phenomenon.
Regards,
Richard
