problem when copying a visio into word.

Hi, i'm trying to put a visio drawing into word, and each time i copy and
paste it, the drawing goes into word ok, apart from the drawing having about
a 1/3 of a page of white space.
i.e the drawing shrinks to about 2/3's of the page, and the remaining space
is bank. I would like the drawing to be the full width of the page.
Is this a format issue with visio or with word?

how are you copying (paste, paste special)? the recommendation is usually to
do it as a paste special visio document.

try re-sizing the pasted image in Word...usually grab the corner of the
image and drag to size desired....you may have to also hold down the shift
key to retain proportionality of the image
