Problem with Default HTM Pages

When I try to open Project 2002 Professional, I get an
error:

"The Command is attempting to use a web page from the site
gbui://blank.htm/. You have not identified this site as a
trusted site in Internet Explorer..." Closing the box
gives a similar message referencing gbui://mainpage.htm/.

If I add those "sites" to the list of trusted sites, I
don't
get the error message. However, there is no default
template - only white space where the task table and Gantt
view are usually seen.

Problem occurred after installing and uninstalling
unrelated software. I have attempted to repair Project,
and I also uninstalled/reinstalled Project. Neither had
any effect.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Bob

Have you tried going to the Tools -> Options and under
the Interface tab select the default Guide and
Functionality settings and retry?

Using the default guide and functionality pages results in
the error I detailed. However, unchecking the box "Display
project guide" restores the task list and Gantt Chart.

It looks as though I can't use the project guide -- not a
huge problem, but I would still like to figure this one
out.

Thanks for the suggestion, I seem to be one step closer.
