Problem with Portfolio Server 2007 Setup

I installed Portfolio Server on the server running Project. The SQL server
is on a different server.

During the install it won't let me connect to an existing database, it
alwasy forces me to create a new db using Integrated Authentication.

After a successful install when I try going to the Portfolio Page:
http://<servername>:81/PortFolioServer
I get a logon failed error from the workstation running Project/Portfolio.

I have tried several IDs an end up with the same issue.

When I check the SQL Server Application Log it tells me the workstation that
is running Project/Portfolio server was denied access

Bob - Check to see if there is a database user for each of the Profolio
databases that is domain\machinename$ dbo_owner. Machinename = Portfolio
application server.

I wasn't able to add the machine name as a user in the db.
I made the machine that was running Portfolio Server a local admin on my SQL
server and everything started working.
