Project cannot recognize this file format

Hello All,

I created a Gantt Chart and the last modified date was this Sunday and now
Project is throwning the error:

Project cannot recognize this file format
Open as Read Only?

What can I do? This file is important as it is the project schedule for my
Grad Project. Any suggestions are welcomed!

Hi Liz,

Can you give us a bit more information such as:

What version of MS Project are you using?
What service Pack is applied (See Help > About)
Have you installed or removed any software since Sunday when you last
had the file opened?
