Project Pro fails to launch

Hi,

I would love any/all suggestions regarding a problem I am having with
Project Pro 2003. Any attempt to launch Project results in an error. I have
tried repairing the installation, uninstalling and reinstalling, updating the
current installation and nothing has worked. Here is the description for the
event I receive in the Application log:

Faulting application winproj.exe, version 11.1.2004.1707, stamp 40ebc70a,
faulting module winproj.exe, version 11.1.2004.1707, stamp 40ebc70a, debug?
0, fault address 0x0005ae6d.

I have a second machine, same hardware and same software, that was built the
same day as the one I am having problems with. Project installs and launches
successfully on this second machine. I am completely stumped. If anyone has
seen this problem before, please let me know what you did to resolve it!
