I have a server for Microsoft EPM Solution (Windows SharePoint Services,
Project Server and Portfolio Server 2007), and other server for SQL Server
2005

The EPM 2007 Server has the following software Installed:

1. Windows Server 2003 Service Pack2
2. Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 and 3.0
3. Windows Internet Explorer 7
4. Adobe Reader Version 9
5. Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Visio 2007
6. Microsoft Office 2003 Web Components
7. Microsoft Office Project Portfolio Server 2007 Service Pack 1
8. Microsoft Office Project Server 2007
9. Microsoft Office Project Professional 2007
10. 2007 Microsoft Office System Servers Service Pack 1
11. Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 Service Pack 1

The SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 2 has the following SQL Components:

1. SQL Server Database Services
2. SQL Server Integration Services
3. SQL Server Reporting Services
4. SQL Server Notification Services
5. SQL Server Analysis Services

I get an empty error message, when i try to (Save PivotTable as Image) or
(Save PivotChart as Image) in the Reporting Page in (Microsoft Office Project
Web Access) Home Page through the following steps:

1. Open the Microsoft Office Project Web Access 2007 Home Page
2. Click on the "Reporting Link"
3. Click the "Show Field List" button to open the "PivotTable Field List"
4. Drag the desired items to the PivotTable List
5. Click on the (Save PivotTable as Image) or (Save PivotChart as Image)
button
6. A message will appear requesting for the file name.
7. Click "OK" and a confirmation message will appear.
8. Click "Yes" and an empty error message will appear.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi yousef,

I am not sure why you get the error message, but I would make sure that your
internet browser is set up correctly.

Check out the following:
- make sure PWA is a trusted site
- Within the Internet option, navigate to the Security tab, select trusted
sites and click on the custom level button.
A new dialog window appears (Security Settings)
Ensjure that under the Miscellaneous group the "Access sdata sources accross
domains" is enabled. Then scroll to the bottom of the dialog window, ensure
that under Logon, the "Automatic logon with current user name and password"
is activated. After that, try to save the Image again and let me know what
happened.
Hope this helps
