Appeared while running the "Update" routine. When trying to check in the
project following msgbox pops up: "Request status 9305" and I got errors from
the Microsoft Office Project Server Spooler: "SYSTEM ERROR 0x80004005" and
"DATABASE ERROR 0x80040E14". Anyone who knows the cause of this problem?

I assume this is Project Server 2003?

Did the updates publish/proejct check in?

Yes, Project server 2003.

First i republished assignments for the actual project files and "took over"
the updates sendt by the resuorces. Then I accepted the Updates in MSP Web:
The project files checked out and the error messages appeared after
attempting to save them. I shut down the projectfiles because of the error
and currently its not possible to check them in again. ("Forced" check in via
MSP Web)

So, in addition to these errors, you're also unable to force a check-
in from PWA?

P:

This would appear to be a duplicate assignment or some other corruption in
the database. First, see the following article to get your project checked
in. You may need to resort to the third resolution:
http://www.projectserverexperts.com/Shared Documents/checkinprojectsandresources.htm

Once you get your project checked in, you can check to see if it functions.
If not, you should save it as an mpp file, delete the copy from the server,
import the mpp file back to the server and republish everything. That will
eliminate an dupe assigments.

I think i solved it. The error seems to be caused by the log file beeing
full. Everything seems to be OK now.

Thanks to both of you.

Precisely which log file... the application log?
