Hi all,
I'm getting this error message in my event viewer. The e-mail
notification is not working well. I have Project Server 2003 installed in
Windows server 2003 .

Is there any solution to this problem??

File: C:\Office\dev\project\WebClient\source\server\pjsvrutl\PjENAgent.cpp
Line: 524

The error 0x80040211 refers to a SMTP transport error. I saw this error on a
project server where the e-mail server was rejecting teh connection because
it had to many client connections. The e-mail server managers fixed this
problem and the error when away. You could also have some other type of
network issue.

Hope this helps.

Hi Ray,
Any idea what the e-mail administrator do to overcome the problem.
My SMTP server is residing at our ISP. I believe it is working perfectly
since all our internal mails are using it for sending mails. There is no
issue with this.

Thanks in Advance

most ISP's e-mail serves require authenication for client to send e-mail.
Project Server doesn't have the ablity to athenicate. I setup a trusted IP
address with my ISP to allow my Project Server from the trusted IP address to
send SMTP mail without authenication.
I would talk to your ISP and see that can be setup. It requires the Project
Server be allowed to forward without authenication. This is normally a big
no no for ISP becasue of spamming.

Hope this helps.
