Hello,
My problem is with View Assignments in Resource Center. When I select a
resource that I know has a task assigned to her, I receive the following
error message:
"Either this resource has no assignments to display, you do not have
permissions to view this resource's assignments, or another user has deleted
the selected resource"
I have Admin rights to my company's Project Server app, so I should see it.
Strangely, when I have the same resource selected and go to View
Availability, I can see all the projects which contain her as a resource.
This problem is hit or miss in our Enterprise Resource pool. I've looked at
the User accounts for the resources that both work and do not work (in terms
of seeing their tasks in View Assignments) and no one thing is standing out
as the cause of the problem.
One other symptom that I've noticed... When I encounter a problematic
account and receive the error message above, I tried changing the view to
something else within Resource Assignments. Project then ignores my selected
resource and displays information for the last "working" resource. It leads
me to believe there is a caching issue on Project Web Access somewhere.
This problem occurs on other PCs with different Admin users as well.
Feeling the pressure from the boss right now to get this fixed and I haven't
a clue how to do it.
