PWA cannot access project server for one resource

I have one resource who all of a sudden, we cannot view assignments for using
the resource center. We get the following error "Project Web Access cannot
connect to Project Server. For more information, contact your system
administrator." After clicking OK, we get the message "Either this resource
has no assignments to display, you do not have permissions to view this
resource's assignments, or another user has deleted the selected resource".
I am the tool administrator, so permissions is not an issue. She has
assignments, her user id is valid, she can still key timesheets, etc. I
created a new project, was able to select her as a resource, published the
project, and still got this error. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried to edit the resource and publish to update the resource.
Sometimes it helps if from Resource Center you select and edit the resource,
make a change, save and change it back and save, then publish, just to help
all the references and pointers get reconnected.

Yes, I did edit the resource and publish. That had no impact. As to SP1 and
updates, we are sat SP1 w/the August CU on the desktops (getting the December
CU tested now)

Hate to say it, but when a resource gets totally cornfuzzle, tech term, we
are forced to delete them and recreate them and go through pain of replacing
the local resource, created when deletion occured with the new enterprise
resource, sorry.

Thanks for the input Sean. I will save that for a 'last resort' option, but
it may become necessary.
