PSI Statusing UpdateStatus Actual/Remaining work

For certain project-task-assignment I try to update actual and remaining work.

First time (ADD) everything works fine.
After that (UPDATE) actual work cannot be changed anymore, whereas remaining
work is updated over and over.

What could I possibly be missing here?
