publisher 2000

I have recently migrated files from an old computer to a new one and
publisher 98 would not work so i upgraded to publisher 2000 thinking that
would work. But still can't get it to run. The problem is when I go to the
clip art gallery I get an error
ither error code 80070057 or an unspecified error. I have tried registering
the clipart.exe file and this has not helped. The funny thing is there are
some clip art clips that I can find and insert so it is not a total block out
on the clipart gallery. any ideas?

The Clip Gallery has its own help files. Re-register ARTGLARY.EXE file by double
clicking on the file. It is in a folder similar to this
C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\ARTGALRY
Compact the Gallery. Tools, Restore.

I have checked and made sure the clipart has been placed onto the Hard drive
in the right place as per the Publisherr set up. I have also registered it
asmary sujests and i have also right clicked on clip artcatogories and gone
through the restore sequences have even compacted some but still the same
result.

Martin, I installed Office 2007 and lost the Clip Gallery with the same error
you are getting. There is an article here that might help, it didn't help me,
but maybe without Office 2007 you will have success.
