Publisher 2007 frequently crashes

R

RJ Redden

Hello all,
I'm having some difficulty with Publisher 2007. Whenever I try to open a
particular file, the program crashes. I get no error message, except that
Publisher needs to close. I've run Office Diagnostics (twice), with no
results. I can open other Publisher files. The file that I am trying to open
is an internal website for the company I work for. This file began acting
strangely a couple of weeks ago - it wouldn't insert a duplicate page for a
while, but I found a workaround, so I didn't worry about it. However, now I
think that it may be a part of a larger problem. I'd really appreciate any
help I could get on this matter. Thanks in advance! RJ

BTW, be sure to include your

Good try John, but it sounds like a corrupt Pub file.

Not really *trying* anything David.

Aren't website issues off topic in this newsgroup?

Cheers...

Sorry, that did not come off the way I meant it. When I said "nice try" I
meant that I appreciate your help with referring Publisher web issues to the
appropriate group. However, the problem the OP has is with a Pub file
itself, and that will not vary whether it is a web publication or a print
publication, and the OP is likely to get better help with that here from
you, Mary and Ed.
