Hi,
I have been using OneNote 2003 to manage my class notes in law school, and I
have found it invaluable for keeping my notes organized and valuable. Kudos
to the dev team, and I look forward to the next version.
First question. I typically enter a batch of class notes into one note
container on one page, scrolling down the page as needed. I would like to be
able to split one of these large, vertical containers into two. Is there a
quick way do this? I know I can cut and paste to create a new container etc,
but this can be cumbersome when dealing with a lot of material. and requires
some futzing with formatting to get it to look right. Is there an easier way?
Also, when creating one of these large vertical note containers, sometimes
along the margins I create smaller containers to emphasize important points,
bring attention to a question, etc. If I change the width of the larger
container, or add text, I invariably have to shift the smaller ones around so
they stay in the right spot. Is there a way to bind these smaller containers
to text in the larger container, so that as formatting in the larger
container changes, the smaller container moves around to stay with it?
Thanks everyone and keep up the good work
