RBS Field Might be corrupt

We opened up Enterprise Global and went into the RBS outline code
values table. The table opened up just fine, however, when I try to
expand the levels, the system boots me out and cycles me back to
connect to the server. We have to check Global back in via PWA. We
have also experience problems when trying to use the RBS to prefilter
resources. When I click on the drop down to look up an RBS value the
system hesitates for a second and then kicks me back out. I am able to
change RBS values on resources in PWA, but even if I only have one
resource open in project professional and touch the RBS, it kicks me
out and I have to check the resource back in via PWA. My best guess is
that our RBS table is corrupt based on how the system is reacting. All
other prefilter fields work just fine and as long as I don't touch the
RBS it saves the changes on the resources.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

You might try restoring a recent backup of the Enterprise global file and
see if this helps.

We have tried restoring the global and even went back to daily backups
from 2-3 weeks ago but the problem still exists even in the backup
version. We have also looked at the data on MSP server and the RBS
fields show fine.

When using desktop MSP 2003 Pro when we try to locate and add resources
by Build Team from Enterprise then the drop down box for the RBS is
blank. Also, when using desktop MSP 2003 Pro, when we try to edit the
RBS fields form the enterprise global, it crashes MSP Desktop.

We also checked the mask values and levels and the 255 character limit
on the RBS.

Any other suggestions or troubleshooting would be much appreciated.
