Hello - I am running Office Professional Plus 2007 in Windows XP, and I am
receiving a sharing violation error. I have SP1 installed for Office and SP2
installed for XP.
I created a worksheet in Office 97-2003 format. I then created a Word file
in the 97-2003 format. I inserted the Word file into the Excel worksheet and
checked "display as icon". I saved the Excel worksheet and received the
following error:
The document was saved successfully, but Excel cannot re-open it because of
a sharing violation. Please close the document and try to open it again.
I tried using Microsoft Office Diagnostics to fix the problem but had no
luck. Has anyone seen this error before? Is there a fix or workaround?
Thanks in advance for your help.
