sharing violation

O

Onraglad

When closing a workbook I get a messagethat my changes could not be saved
because of a sharing violation. Try saving to a different file. Excel then
creates another file typically using letter & numbers e.g. F1234567.
This only happens on one particuler workbook -I don't have problems with any
others I use.

Is that work book shared?
Does it gets open as ready-only?
Is this on a network?
While un-opened are you able to rename the file?
