SideNote screen sizing

When I lengthen (or widen) the sidenote sizing, it quickly shifts to the full
OneNote screen. How can I resize and keep the SideNote screen? (I'm not
useing the corner of the screen to resize.)
A related question: Is there a way to shift back and forth to the SideNote
screen and the full OneNote screen? Is there a hotkey to do this?

You can drag the sidenote screen a little bigger with the corner handle
but at a certain point it will open up to the full OneNote screen -- the
SideNote is just a special view of the same OneNote app.

I don't know of a hotkey to switch back and forth. If you window the
OneNote window small enough to show the SideNote format you could use the
Window/Maximize buttons at the top right to switch back and forth I
suppose.
