Smooth Scroll in Normal View

When I go through presentations, PPT automatically "flips" from one slide to
the next when I use the scroll bar in the Normal view. I would like to be
able to see two slides at once (without making them smaller) on the screen.

For example, if there is information at the top of Slide #3 that I want to
view while I am editing the bottom of Slide #2, I have to flip back and forth
between the slides instead of placing the scroll bar so that both slides are
shown on the screen at the same time.

I'm not sure if this is actually called "smooth scrolling", but I would like
to be able to do just that...scroll smoothly between the slides instead of
flipping from one slide to the next, all one slide at a time.

Thanks!

Kim,
I do not think this is possible. You could use the scroll wheel to move
quickly, one click moves it up and down quite easily here. I'm curious
whether someone will have a better suggestion for you.

As far as I know there's no way to scroll in this way.

The only way I could think of (not that satisfactory!) would be to open two
copies and view them side by side using windows > arrange all

You would either have to save one with a different name or use vba to open
two copies. Either way the second copy won't auto update if you alter the
first.
