Split DB and locked db

I have a split DB running in Access 2007. Prior to splitting (which was done
last week) multiple users could access the file. Now after splitting it will
no long allow more than one user into the database at a time. What is the
problem? I'm having problems figuring out what I need to change in 2007 to be
sure this will work. Any suggestions?

Make sure all users have at read, write, modify, and delete permissions on
the folder where the back-end database is stored. To allow multiple users,
Access needs to be able to create and delete the .ldb file (lock file) in
that folder.
