stoplight reports with physical%complete

hi i want to use stoplight graphical indicator in my project plan.i
have to use % complete field value for that.at the same time i have to
considert the duration(%duration completed)also.
cau anyone suggest any formula for that.what about using
physical%complete field.can anyone explain about that field?

% complete and %duration complete are the same thing. Physical % complete is
to do with earned value which isn't for the faint hearted. Try inserting the
different columns into a Task View (EG Gantt Chart) then hover your mouse
over the column title. Click on the hyperlink for the column to read help on
exactly what the column holds.
