Switchboard Limit

Brian

Does anyone know how to increase the limit on the number of buttons you can
have on the Switchboard from 8 to a higher number.

I've tried changing CONST conNumButtons to a higher number but then I get an
error saying it can't find the field 'Option9'

Thanks,
Brian

Is there any reason you don't use one of the 8 buttons to open a
second menu? That is easily done using the switchboard manager.

However, I would strongly suggest you create your own switchboards,
using command buttons on unbound forms, rather than add additional
buttons to the switchboard created by the built-in switchboard manger.
You will have more control over the appearance and design of the
switchboard form, and maintenance will be much simpler.

While additional buttons can be added to the built-in switchboard, you
will not be able to edit these added buttons using the manager.

I have used up to 16 menu items using the switchboard menu and rearranged
the layout as required.

As to editing the buttons, I edit the command and argument fields as
required.
