Syriac computing in Office 2008

Is the Mactopia team working for an office2008 full support to the syriac language? I like very much office suite, but I need to write in Syriac. Microsoft Office for windows supports syriac since the 2003 version: why the mac version still doesn't?

Don't know whether they're planning on it, but I tend to doubt it.
However, you should use Help/Send Feedback to let them know you want it.

Very small market?

MacOffice has never supported the range of localizations that WinOffice
has, and likely won't for the forseeable future.
