TEXTWIDTH(TheText) is different in Visio 2003 and Visio 2007

Hello,

did you already recognize, that objects with the width "TEXTWIDTH(TheText)"
in Visio 2007 have not the same width as in Visio 2003. You can test that as
follows:

1) Create a rectangle in Visio 2003
2) Write some text into this rectangle; use format "Arial 12pt"
3) Sset the rectangle's width to "GUARD(TEXTWIDTH(TheText))" (by using the
rectangle's shape sheet)
4) Copy the rectangle and change the copy's text format to "Arial 8pt"
5) Add guides to the left and the right edge of both rectangles
6) Save the drawing
7) Open the drawing in Visio 2007

-> The guides on the right edges of the rectangles don't fit anymore, the
rectangles are more narrow (both 0.2645 mm, the font size doesn't matter)

8) Add guides to the new (Visio 2007) right edges of both rectangles
9) Save the drawing
10) Open the drawing in Visio 2003

-> The old right guides are fitting, the new ones are within the rectangle.

The difference 0.2645 mm between Visio 2003 and Visio 2007 stays constant,
independend from the rectangle's width (try it with more text)

Is this a known phenomenon?
Are there solutions for this gap/overlapping problem if people work with
different Visio versions on the same drawing?
