To type in arabic

have Word 2007 on a windows xp professional with service pack 3. i want to
add arabic but the computer doesn't allow me. after checking the "enable
complex scripting..." box, it comes back with the message---> missing
'ftlx41e.dll'

any help on this? can you suggest something that a non-techy can understand?

My first thought would be to run Office Setup and make sure that all the
proofing/language Tools are definitely installed. A default install does not
install everything.
