Hi... I'm having trouble getting to my files. This just started happening a
few days ago. Prior to now, I haven't had any problems.
Problem Description: Trying to open a word document, and window opens called
"Windows Installer" (I've never seen this before). Inside the box, it says,
"preparing to install..." Then error message appears in "Problem with
Shortcut" window that says, "This update package could not be opened. Verify
that the update package exists and that you can access it, or contact the
application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer update
package."
Same thing happens when trying to open OneNote or Power Point. It looks
like it's just Microsoft Office applications.
