Unable to Connect to Microsoft Office Online

Hey,

I have Microsoft Office 2003 Proffessional Edition. When I open MS. Word a
new sub-window opens on the right side that is labelled "getting started".
Underneath ther are links to connect to microsoft office online, get the
latest news about using word, automatically update this list from web.
When I click on either of these links nothing happens - no internet explorer
window opens.

If i try to research a word using the Tools>Research function I am unable to
open the links provided by Encarta Encyclopedia or any of the other research
sites listed.

When I research a term in the encarta encyclopedia the link is in blue -
however the icon next to it is not the normal internet explorer blue 'e' -
its a picture of a window with a blue toolbar on the top and three yellow
dots in the blue toolbar.

How can I fix this problem?

Thanks,

The Internet Explorer does not open when you are online with Office 2003, you are
automatically connected when you open the applications if you have Online Content
applied.

In the "Getting Started" task pane, scroll down to "See Also", click "Online Content
Settings", check your preferences.

I have checked the Online Content Settings and I have checked off:
- Search online content when connected
- Show Microsoft Office Online links

And Yes I am connected to the internet at the time.

So my problem is still NOT resolved
