VLA for Project Pro 2007

Micah

If there is a version of MS Project 2007 Pro installed on my PC and it
crashes or I get a new PC, can I just uninstall/reload the software on to the
new/different PC and not have to worry about violating any licensing
agreement between me and Microsoft while using up one license that can’t be
used anymore or do I just have to follow the VLA multiplexing rules?? I Have
a VLA with 75 licenses for the client version of MS Project Pro 2007.

Hi Micah!

There is a wide variety of people who read this discussion group, so someone
may have the answer for you. That said, this sounds like a question for
your nearest MS rep or MS reseller rep.

Micah---
I believe you should use VLA with 75 licenses.
When you install software in new pc and entered license number...you can't
move to others pc. its already use in old PC.
But if you fix or format your old pc...you can reinstall with old license
number, no need to use new license.

Well, you have succeeded in getting two totally different answers to your
question. You cannot get a definitive answer out of this newsgroup about
licensing issues. The best that participants in this newsgroup can provide
for you is opinions. Therefore, I strongly recommend that you contact your
Microsoft rep for the definitive answer. Hope this helps.
