Why is there no Import/Export option in my File Menu?

In MS Outlook, I do not have the Import/Export option in my File Menu - why?
It is not that the option is hidden from not using it (you know, where you
have to put your cursor on the arrow to reveal options you haven't used in
awhile)...that is not the case - I literally just don't have Import/Export.
I even uninstalled and reinstalled. I need to import contacts from LinkedIn
in batch, but I can't without Import/Export - HELP!!!
