Windows installer error message when accessing Office products

Everytime I try to use Office programs such as Word, Excel etc, I keep
getting this pop box and I just cant fix it:

"The Feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is
unavailable.

Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the
installation package 'AcroPro.msi' in the box below"

Any ideas on how to resolve this?.

Is Adobe Acrobat properly installed? That looks like what is being
triggered, perhaps by an Add-in left over from a prior install?

If you can't sort the Acrobat issue, please share with the folks the
events leading up to the broken Office issue.

Yes I can access Adobe ok. To be honest I dont know how it got into this
state.

Ok, then I would put the install CD for Adobe Acrobat in the drive and
let it finish whatever it is trying to install from there.
