Word 2003 keeps crashing after install on new hard drive

I have a new hard drive, and have installed Office 2003 (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Publisher). They all seem to be working fine except for Word. I
open it and get an error that says something like Microsoft Word experienced
an error and needs to close. I have ran the repair/reinstall function, but
even though the message said it repaired succesfully, word is still not
working. I have downloaded the Compatibility pack for 2007 thinking that
might help -- but it still is not working. Please Help! I need Word!!
