Word crashing

I have Windows XP and am using Office Home and Student 2007. I use my
accounts program to do medical transcription. This links the patient
information into word and loads up a recording that I listen to and type the
report. My problem is that Word will load the patient information but when
it starts to load the recording Word crashes and gives the "Microsoft Word
has encountered a problem and needs to close." This is the information on
the last crash I just had:

ERROR SIGNATURE
AppName: winword.exe
AppVer: 12.0.6514.5000
AppStamp: 4a89d533
ModName: Unknown
ModVersion: 0.0.0.0
ModStamp: 00000000
fDeBug: 0
Offset: 00000000

I did send this error to Microsoft. I must reboot my computer and try to
access the report again...sometimes it works and sometimes it will crash
several times before I can access it.

I have had the tech support from the program take a look at this but they
cannot figure out what is wrong.

Any ideas of what I may try to get this to work correctly?

Sounds like you might be putting to commercial use a version of the software
that is not licensed for that purpose. I doubt however that is what is
causing the error which is probably something in the interaction of the Word
software with the Accounting software.
