Hi all,

We're currently trying to transition over to Exchange for email as well as calendaring, however, we've ran into a few issues so I was wondering if anyone had any tips to resolve this. Basically I have two users trying to share their calendar with each other, however this error keeps popping up when trying to share their respective calendars (Entourage 2008). "Entourage cannot modify permissions on the Exchange server. There was an error while attempting to modify permissions on the server."

It's odd because these two users are able to share their calendars with everyone else but each other. Any ideas? They are both running 10.5.6 and Office 12.1.5, fully up to date. They also reside on the same Exchange mail server.

Another issue is between an Outlook 2007 user and 2 Entourage 2008 users, the Outlook user is able to share his calendar with the 2 Entourage users, however, when the 2 Entourage users try to open/view his calendar, the system tells them they don't have permission. Is this possibly a server issue?

Thanks in advance for any help! The server is running Exchange 2007 and I'm pretty sure we have an Enterprise contract or two..

Can you have the users log in to Outlook for Windows and set their
permissions there? If that works then this is probably the easiest way
to get around the problem.

Otherwise, I suggest you post your question to the
microsoft.public.exchange.admin newsgroup to see if someone can offer
some advice from the administrator's perspective.

Hope this helps!
