0ffice 2007 enterprise installation freezes computer

I am trying to install office 2007 enterprise which i purchased from the home
use program through my employer. When i put the CD in it freezes the
computer and will not run the installation. I am using a new laptop with
Windows Vista and have already uninstalled the trial version of office 2007.
The computer also stops responding when trying to access the cd through "my
computer". It recognizes the CD as office 12 but stops responding when
trying to explore the CD or check properties. I have tried the CD in an
older laptop with Windows XP and installation starts correctly. I attempted
this only to test the CD and not to install the program. Thanks for any

At least eTrust AntiVirus is known to cause hangs of several hours while the
Office 2007 setup is in progress. It should help to disable the OnAccess
scanner before launching the setup.

Thanks for the help. I am using norton internet security and
temporarily disabled the auto-protect during installation. It appeared to
begin working but then it froze again and showed up with the error:
"E:enterpriser.ww\osetup.dll digital signature does not validate or is not
present". Any more ideas... Thanks.
