I am also having the problem. I'm on XP, LAN connection,
updated software, on internet, and trying to get email to
be downloaded on to outlook. I have checked with my email
company and I have followed all of their setting
instructions for getting mail off the internet.
Still getting socket error: 0x800ccc0e
